Large batch of alcohol detained at Sosnovka post in Kyrgyzstan
Employees of the State Tax Service seized more than 4,000 bottles of alcohol with fake excise stamps at Sosnovka post on Bishkek — Osh road. Press service of the department reported.
A vehicle was stopped, the driver of which, when asked to present shipping documents for the cargo, tried to escape. But he was stopped at the entrance to the tunnel. The truck was placed on impoundment lot.
During the inspection, alcoholic products of dubious origin and with dubious excise stamps were found. At least 4,206 bottles of alcohol were confiscated. The driver was arrested.
