Number of infected with coronavirus exceeds 638.9 million people globally
The number of people infected with coronavirus has grown by 612,663 globally over the past 24 hours. Data of an online map developed by scientists say.
In total, 638,976,616 people got infected with coronavirus. The highest number of the infected is in the United States (98,386,225), India (44,669,715), Brazil (35,052,152), France (37,641,319), Russia (21,239,400), Turkey (16,919,638), Great Britain (24,203,888), Italy (24,031,538), Spain (13,573,721), Germany (36,280,371), Argentina (9,723,924), Iran (7,559,416) and Columbia (6,312,657).
At least 6,623,542 people died from the virus, including 1,077,777 people — in the USA, 689,155— in Brazil, 330,444— in Mexico, 530,591— in India, 212,086— in the UK, 180,518— in Italy and 383,676— in Russia.
At least 206,511 cases of coronavirus were registered in Kyrgyzstan, 1,485,635 cases — in Kazakhstan, 245,569— in Uzbekistan, 17,721 — in Tajikistan.
