Previously convicted of espionage Batken resident detained with drugs
A 49-year-old man, who is suspected of illicit trafficking of prohibited drugs and substances, was detained in Batken region. The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
The native of Batken region, previously convicted of espionage in Uzbekistan, was detained near a mosque in Kadamdzhai.
A criminal case has been initiated on the fact under Article 282 (illegal manufacture of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their analogues for the purpose of sale) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Further investigative measures are being taken to establish the involvement of other defendants in the crime. The suspect was taken into custody.
