Land for kindergartens, schools to be provided free of charge in Kyrgyzstan
Deputies discuss the draft law on the republican budget for 2022 and the outlook for 2023-2024 at a meeting of the Committee on Budget, Economic and Fiscal Policy of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan.
The meeting is attended by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Japarov.
According to him, an inventory of land is currently being carried out in Osh and Bishkek. Investors who decide to open kindergartens or schools will be provided with land free of charge.
«We will also connect them to sewerage, water supply system and electricity free of charge, we will give schools and kindergartens to private ownership. Mayors must provide information by February 1. Nearly 800 kindergartens will open next year. Of these, 560 will work for three hours, there are those that will work for five hours. Children will not get meals there; they will be trained for school. 247 schools will start working in one shift. But even this is not enough. If people want to open kindergartens in large houses in villages, we give permission. We will start with the highlands — Batken, Leilek first. Vouchers will be issued, children will go to these kindergartens, and then to schools. The only thing is that we do not have furniture, but we will allocate money for this from the republican budget. If we build kindergartens at the expense of the state budget, then the expenses for wages and food should be covered by the parents, and we will take on utilities,» Akylbek Japarov said.
