Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan: Problems with servicing of Mir cards are temporary
Problems with servicing of Mir cards in Kyrgyzstan are temporary and technical. The Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Russian Federation Gulnara-Klara Samat said to RIA Novosti.
She noted that any actions of banks are primarily commercial issues.
«This is not politics, this is a technical problem. This is not only here, but also in Russia and in any other state. It is all over the world. Such big processes are taking place. Therefore, I think that this is all temporary, big people in our financial segment will find some way out, points of contact,» the Ambassador said.
She added that business circles are holding meetings. «This is business; they are looking for any opportunity to make the financial flow happen. I think something will move forward,» Gulnara-Klara Samat said.
Earlier, Capital Bank and Demir Bank suspended servicing of Russian Mir cards. Eight commercial banks also announced suspension of servicing of Russian Mir cards: Kyrgyzstan, Bakai Bank, Dos-Credobank, Companion, Bank of Asia, KICB, Bai-Tushum, Optima Bank, as well as one state bank — Aiyl Bank.
