Exchange rate of US dollar grows by 50 tyiyns in Kyrgyzstan
Appreciation of the U.S. dollar began in Kyrgyzstan. For half a day, exchange rate of the U.S. currency grew by 50 tyiyns — 1 som.
Exchange offices of Bishkek set the buying rate of the dollar at 84.5-85 soms, selling rate — at 85.5-86 soms. The nominal rate was set by the National Bank at 84.3808 soms.
Kyrgyzstanis complain that it is almost impossible to buy dollars on the market. Even if they manage to do this, the exchange rate is more than 86 soms. At the same time, the National Bank has already announced that it has tightened control over the work of exchange offices and commercial banks.
