Deputy Minister of Energy of Kyrgyzstan appointed
Mirlan Zhakypov has been appointed a Deputy Minister of Energy of Kyrgyzstan. The ministry reported.
The corresponding order was signed by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Japarov.
51-year-old Mirlan Zhakypov served as the General Director of Kyrgyzkomur state enterprise in 2015. According to media reports, he was removed from office due to a criminal case initiated against him on charges of corruption.
In 2020, Mirlan Zhakypov ran for Parliament from Kyrgyzstan party, he was the 46th on the list.
