Cabinet of Ministers to increase pensions for servicemen with disabilities
The Social Fund of Kyrgyzstan is submitting a draft resolution providing for, from January 1, 2023, an increase in the minimum disability pension for military personnel from among soldiers and sailors of military service and compensation payments to pensions of participants in the liquidation of the consequences of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant and other civil or military nuclear facilities.
The document says that those who now receive more than 6,300 soms will be paid a thousand soms more. Compensations for those who receive less than 6,300 soms are increased by the same amount.
It is specified that there are 1,209 pensioners who can count on the increase in Kyrgyzstan. At least 16.3 million soms will be required for these purposes.
