President of Kyrgyzstan meets with Interior Minister of Turkey
The President of the Kyrgyz Republic received the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Turkey Suleyman Soylu, who arrived in the country on a visit.
The parties exchanged views on the issues of further development of practical cooperation and implementation of the agreements between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey in the field of ensuring public security, combating illegal migration and other relevant areas.
Sadyr Japarov noted that the visit of the head of the Turkish Interior Ministry would help strengthen bilateral cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of the two countries.
«Turkey is a brotherly state and a reliable friend for us. Kyrgyzstan attaches particular importance to cooperation with Turkey,» he stressed and expressed confidence that bilateral relations would be strengthened.
Suleyman Soylu informed that, together with the Kyrgyz colleagues, extensive negotiations were held on cooperation in the field of security, combating terrorism and extremism, illegal migration and drug trafficking.
According to him, the Turkish side is ready to further deepen the strategic partnership in all areas of cooperation, taking into account the instructions of the leaders of the two countries.
