Kyrgyzstan introduces state regulation of coal prices
Temporary state regulation of coal prices has been introduced in Kyrgyzstan. The corresponding decision was signed by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Japarov.
The decision was made to curb the rate of growth of coal prices, timely stable supply of coal to the population during the autumn-winter period of 2022-2023.
State regulation of coal prices was introduced for a period of 90 calendar days with setting a maximum price.
At the same time, the Antimonopoly Regulation Service was instructed to take measures for state regulation and control of fuel prices.
The decision comes into force from the day of its official publication.
