Kyrgyzstan to name mountain peak after UAE founder Sheikh Zayed
The National media outlet reports some details of the talks held in Abu Dhabi between the Presidents of the United Arab Emirates and Kyrgyzstan, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Sadyr Japarov.
According to it, during the meeting, Sadyr Japarov announced plans to name a mountain peak in Kyrgyzstan after the founder of the UAE, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
As it is reported, Japarov said the decision was made to honour Sheikh Zayed’s humanitarian values and contributions, and for his significant role in strengthening the friendship and co-operation between the UAE and Kyrgyzstan. The President also said a public school in Kyrgyzstan would carry the name of Sheikh Zayed.
Sheikh Mohamed thanked Sadyr Japarov for his generous gestures and said he hoped the visit would boost relations between the two countries in various fields.
