Kyrgyz Drama Theater wins Grand Prix at International Festival in Astana
«Mother’s Field» play by the Kyrgyz National Academic Drama Theater named after Toktobolot Abdumomunov won the Grand Prix at TEATR ALL International Festival, which took place in Astana. The Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
According to astanatv.kz, 14 theater groups performed at the festival, six of them were groups from Russia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan. In 2022 the festival was dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the outstanding Kazakh theater and film director Azerbaijan Mambetov.
