Kyrgyzstan, UAE set up holding company with authorized capital of $100 million
Following the negotiations between the Presidents of the Kyrgyz Republic and the United Arab Emirates, a bilateral agreement was signed on the establishment of a joint holding company in the Kyrgyz Republic.
Partnership and formal agreements have been reached with the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development to establish a joint holding company with an authorized fund of $100 million. The goal is to implement various commercial development projects worth up to $1,200 billion.
In addition to financial resources, the UAE side provides business competence. The company will be managed on the principles of corporate governance through the application of the best business practices of the Emirates. High-level foreign managers will be involved in the development and management of the projects.
It is expected that the funds will be used to implement large projects in the areas of transport and logistics hubs, IT innovations, energy industry and food security, creation of new format joint recreation areas and new cities, as well as other development projects.
