A number of bilateral documents were signed following the talks between the Presidents of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

As the press service of the head of state explained, they are aimed at deepening interstate partnership.

The following documents were signed:

• Cooperation agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the UAE government to establish a joint holding company in the Kyrgyz Republic;
• Exchange notes on amendments to the Memorandum of Understanding on a visa-free regime for holders of diplomatic passports in terms of establishing a visa-free regime for holders of official passports between the Governments of the Kyrgyz Republic and the UAE;
• Agreement on protection of environment between the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment of the UAE;
• Agreement on the establishment of sister city relations between Bishkek and Abu Dhabi;
• Memorandum of Understanding between the UAE Cyber ​​Security Council and the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic;
• Memorandum of Understanding and cooperation between the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Finance of the UAE;
• Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure of the UAE;
• Memorandum of Understanding between the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Central Bank of the UAE;
• Memorandum of Understanding between the State Commission for Religious Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department.

A memorandum is one form of a preliminary agreement document. It is used by states to implement bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
