Heads of border districts of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan meet in border zone
Meeting of the heads of border districts of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan took place. Press service of the administration of Batken region reported.
The meeting was reportedly held in the border zone of Kara-Bak and Lyakkon villages.
The parties considered issues of maintaining stability of the social and political situation in the border areas, prevention of conflicts, restoring relations between the two peoples in the field of irrigation, prevention of illegal construction, robberies, fires and other issues.
The parties also discussed prevention of provocative appeals and carrying out explanatory work to maintain stability in the border areas.
