230 certificates for construction of renewable energy sources issued in country
The Ministry of Energy issued a total of 230 certificates for the construction of renewable energy sources (RES). The Deputy Minister of Energy, Sabyrbek Sultanbekov, announced at a briefing.
According to him, at the same time, operating renewable energy facilities can be counted on the fingers.
«Many of them are under construction. But I cannot voice their exact number,» he said.
The official added that after the change in the legislation in the field of renewable energy sources, investors began to invest more.
«I can’t voice figures, since I was recently appointed and I’m just delving into. I know that many entrepreneurs have already received funding, the Uzbek Fund reported five or six entities, the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund also has projects,» he added.
