Sadyr Japarov: State support for agro-industrial sector has doubled
Compared to 2021, the volume of state support for the agro-industrial sector has increased two and a half times, or by 26.6 billion soms. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov announced at an event on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the Ministry of Agriculture.
«Thanks to a sharp increase in the volume of state support and the hard work of real specialists in this field, agricultural production is expected in the amount of about 366 billion soms in 2022, or almost 42 billion soms more compared to 2021, an increase of 11 percent,» the president said.
He stressed that one of the main areas of the agro-industrial complex of Kyrgyzstan is the food and processing industries. According to him, 29 new large and medium-sized enterprises, 46 small enterprises, 750 new jobs have been created this year.
