227 million soms allocated for participation of athletes in competitions in 2021
At least 227 million soms were allocated for the participation of Kyrgyzstan’s athletes in various competitions in 2021. The Deputy Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of Kyrgyzstan — Director of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports, Kanat Shabdanbaev announced at a meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Social Policy.
According to him, 164 million soms were allocated last year for participation in Olympic sports, and 28.9 million soms — in national games.
«At least 23 million soms have been allocated for non-Olympic sports. 11,800 million soms were allocated to Zhazhtyk Directorate for holding mass sports events and work with youth,» Kanat Shabdanbaev said.
