Japarov expresses condolences to President of Turkey over casualties at mine
President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov sent a telegram of condolences to the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan in connection with the death of workers in an explosion at a coal mine. Press service of the head of state reported.
«With regret and empathy, I received the sad news of the death of many people in the explosion that occurred on October 14 in a coal mine in Amasra district of Bartin province. On behalf of the Kyrgyzstanis and personally, I offer my deepest condolences to the families and relatives of the victims. I share the pain and bitterness of irreparable loss,» the head of state said in the telegram.
An explosion occurred at a mine in Bartin province on the Black Sea coast of Turkey. The death toll, according to the latest data, has reached 41 people. Rescue work continues.
