Mine explosion kills 28 people in Turkey
The death toll from an explosion at a mine in the north of Turkey has risen to 28. RIA Novosti reported, citing the Health Minister of Turkey Fahrettin Koca.
At least 11 victims are in hospitals.
The explosion occurred in a mine in northern Turkey, there are workers under the rubble, CNN Turk reported earlier. Haber TV channel, citing local authorities, reported that 115 workers were at the site of the explosion at a depth of 300 meters underground, some of them were evacuated.
