Next meeting of Council of CIS Heads of State to be held in Bishkek
The issue of chairmanship of the organization in 2023 was considered in Astana at a meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) in a narrow format. Press service of the President of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The heads of the delegations decided to transfer the chairmanship to Kyrgyzstan, and the co-chairmanship — to Russia and Kazakhstan.
At the suggestion of Kyrgyzstan, it was decided to hold the next meeting of the Council of CIS Heads of State on October 13, 2023 in Bishkek.
A number of documents were signed in Astana earlier.
