Family Medicine Centers of Bishkek receive equipment for treatment of TB
Healthcare organizations of Bishkek received medical equipment to treat TB patients. Press service of the City Hall reported.
The USAID Cure Tuberculosis Project purchased and donated to Family Medicine Centers No. 1, 2, 9 and the Railway Hospital sets of medical equipment for anti-tuberculosis rooms: negatoscopes for viewing x-rays, tuning forks for determining peripheral neuropathy, scales with a stadiometer, Sivtsev tables and Ishihara tests for checking vision, cooler bags and containers for transporting biomaterials (sputum).
As noted, all this is necessary to improve the quality of management of patients with tuberculosis at the outpatient level. Equipment for a total of 360,000 soms was handed over.
