Residents of Maksat village ask to speed up demarcation of state border
Residents of Maksat village, located in Leilek district, Batken region of Kyrgyzstan, ask the President Sadyr Japarov to expedite the delimitation and demarcation of the state border. The video message says.
According to the head of the village Saparali Adinaev, 20 houses have been completely burned down, 100 houses are in need of major repairs, 70 of them were built last year.
«Construction of new houses will begin in two days, the victims were allocated 200,000 soms to rent temporary housing. It was promised to provide each of them with 3 tons of coal,» Saparali Adinaev said.
The head of the village notes that the residents of the region are most concerned about security.
«Sadyr Nurgozhoevich, speed up border delimitation. What future awaits our children? They got stressed, they need the help of a psychologist. Our school is not working yet, the children have switched to online learning. The villagers do not know what to do. We cannot guarantee them safety in the village. Ten people were injured, one was killed during the September events in our village,» Saparali Adinaev said.
