62 percent of country's university professors involved in corruption - Deputy
At least 62 percent of the total number of university professors in the country are involved in corruption. Deputy Nurzhigit Kadyrbekov stated this at a meeting of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan, citing the results of a study by the Youth Human Rights Bureau.
According to him, survey participants believe that corruption cannot be eradicated.
«At least 62 percent of university professors are involved in corruption. About 57 percent of students experience various types of discrimination from teachers and university administration. This is very sad. We say that youth is our future. We must take action. We have no corruption in only two universities — Manas and AUCA,» Nurzhigit Kadyrbekov said.
