Two Kyrgyzstanis detained for uttering counterfeit dollar bills
Two Kyrgyzstanis were detained in Bishkek for uttering counterfeit dollar bills. Press center of the State Committee for National Security reported.
The security services have suppressed the channel for the supply of counterfeit U.S. dollars to the republic. Two citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic were detained while trying to utter a batch of counterfeit banknotes in the amount of $5,700.
A criminal case was initiated under article 233 «Falsification of money and securities», the Kyrgyzstanis were placed in the temporary detention center of the State Committee for National Security for further investigation activities.
