President tells about joint cultural projects of Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan
The first meeting of the Interstate Council of Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan took place at Ala-Archa state residence.
Sadyr Japarov noted that Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan have a common history, roots, culture, traditions and national peculiarities.
«We attach great importance to the development of relations in the field of culture, education, science, tourism and sports. I would like to stress the importance of implementation of projects that contribute to deepening mutual understanding, friendship and cooperation between our countries and peoples, in particular, the joint opening of two general education schools named after Heydar Alievich Aliyev and Nizami Ganjavi in Bishkek, which will take place on Wednesday. I am sure that our boys and girls will become a bridge of friendship and cooperation between fraternal Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan,» Sadyr Japarov said.
The head of state also told that the Park of Friendship between Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan would be opened in Bishkek.
