Chingiz Aitmatov park opened in Ankara
A park named after Chingiz Aitmatov was opened in Ankara (Turkey). Press service of the Foreign Affairs Ministry reported.
Bust of the writer with a quote on a pedestal: «The most difficult thing for a person is to be a Human every day» was installed in the park.
Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic Kubanychbek Omuraliev noted that opening of the park in the capital of Turkey was not only a clear confirmation of deep respect for the writer and his memory, but also symbolizes the strong fraternal relations between the two peoples.
He stressed that Chingiz Aitmatov is a fundamental personality not only for the Kyrgyz people, but for the entire Turkic world.
