The Pervomaisky Court of Bishkek extended the preventive measure for 19-year-old blogger Yrys Zhekshenaliev until December 14. He will be kept in the remand center 1. The decision was made on Monday.

Yrys Zhekshenaliev, the administrator of Polit Uznik (Political Prisoner) Facebook page, is charged with calls for active disobedience to the lawful demands of government officials and riots. On August 14, he was taken to the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, then detained and placed in the remand center 1 in Bishkek.
