Schools in Batken region overcrowded: Problem to be solved at expense of RKDF
A capsule was laid at the construction site of a new building of Azamat private educational complex in Kyzyl-Kiya. The Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund (RKDF) reported.
Azamat complex is a modern institution with qualified staff and innovative equipment. The school is developing and needs a new building. Its management turned to the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund with a request to finance the construction of a three-story facility with an area of 1,380 square meters.
The schools in Batken region are heavily overcrowded — the actual number of students exceeds the standards 1.7 times. Thanks to the project, this problem will be partially solved. New jobs will be created, tax payments to the budget will increase. The RKDF allocated a preferential loan in the amount of almost $400,000 for the implementation of the project.
The new building will have 18 classrooms and a sports hall. It will be equipped with the necessary equipment and furniture and meet all standards adopted by the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic. At the first stage, more than 200 children will study there, and their number will increase in the future.
