The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reminded labor migrants about the changed rules for entering Russia, which came into force at the end of last year. Press service of the ministry reported.

«The Federal laws on amending the Law on the Legal Status of Foreign Citizens in the Russian Federation and on State Fingerprint Registration in the Russian Federation came into force on December 29, 2021. A number of new requirements are envisaged,» the statement says.

Citizens entering the Russian Federation for employment are required to:

• Pass the state fingerprint registration and photographing procedure once within thirty calendar days from the date of entry into the Russian Federation;
• Within thirty calendar days from the date of entry into the Russian Federation, undergo a medical examination for the presence or absence of facts of consumption of narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances without a doctor’s prescription or new potentially dangerous psychoactive substances, infectious diseases that pose a danger to others, provided for by the list approved by the federal executive body authorized by the Government of the Russian Federation, and the disease caused by the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV);
• Regularly, within thirty calendar days from the date of expiration of medical documents, submit relevant medical documents to the territorial body of the federal executive body in the field of internal affairs directly or in the form of an electronic document using a single portal of state and municipal services, or through a subordinate enterprise or an authorized organization.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic strongly recommends compatriots entering the territory of the Russian Federation familiarize themselves with the aforementioned Federal law and not neglect its requirements.
