Parties to a trial put pressure on the court through the media. Chairman of the Supreme Court of Kyrgyzstan, Zamirbek Bazarbaev, announced at the round table discussion «Interaction of courts with the media and coverage of court hearings».
«News, reports, analytics of journalists made during a trial are of great importance for citizens and parties to the trial, despite the fact that this may be regarded as one more material in a large information flow for the media representatives themselves. Sometimes, trial participants through the media put pressure on the court and try to influence public opinion,» Zamirbek Bazarbaev said.
He noted that as a result, the real situation is distorted and the case is covered biased.
