Putin awards Emomali Rahmon with Order of Merit for the Fatherland
President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin awarded the head of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon with the Order of Merit for the Fatherland of the 3rd class. The Kremlin reported.
The decree notes that the award is given «for a great personal contribution to strengthening the strategic partnership and alliance between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as to ensure regional stability and security.»
Official Moscow did not condemn this invasion, only the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Russia called on the parties to stop the escalation at the border of the two countries.
