By the end of the year, 21 rest points for tourists (RestPoints) will be built in Kyrgyzstan. The Tourism Development Support Fund reported. In total, it is planned to build 68 facilities in all regions of the republic within the project.

«Rest points are being built on the most popular and busiest tourist routes and intercity routes, in Naryn, Talas, Issyk-Kul, Osh, Kara-Kul, Uzgen, Batken.

RestPoints are an opportunity for tourists and travelers to relax, get information about Kyrgyzstan and tourist routes, and charge their gadgets.

Here you can drink coffee on the terrace or take a shower. In addition, a tourist interactive display will be installed in each RestPoint, containing all the information travelers need about routes and attractions, recreation areas and places of interest nearby,» the statement says.

It is noted that each RestPoint building will have a shower, a toilet for people with disabilities, a room for mother and child, a prayer room, a coffee shop. They will also work in the winter. Heating and hot water will be provided by solar collectors, and autonomous treatment facilities will be built in places that have no sewerage systems.
