Policemen catch three Karakol residents in field harvesting hemp
Three residents of Karakol were detained for procuring drugs. Press service of the Department of Internal Affairs of Issyk-Kul region reported.
«While on duty, employees of a separate company of the Patrol-Guard Service of the police noticed suspicious people in a field on the outskirts of Boru-Bash village, Ak-Suu district. When the policemen approached, the men tried to hide. After a short pursuit, the unknown persons were detained,» the statement says.
«The detainees were taken to the Investigation Service of the Ak-Suu District Department of Internal Affairs. The men confessed that they had specially come to the outskirts of the village to pick cannabis,» the police said.
Substance confiscated from the suspects has been sent for examination, based on the results of which a legal assessment will be given to their actions.
