Number of infected with coronavirus exceeds 617.2 million people globally
The number of people infected with coronavirus has grown by 701,401 globally over the past 24 hours. Data of an online map developed by scientists say.
In total, 617,239,610 people got infected with coronavirus. The highest number of the infected is in the United States (96,346,995), India (44,580,771), Brazil (34,654,190), France (35,560,024), Russia (20,648,073), Turkey (16,873,793), Great Britain (23,893,351), Italy (22,432,803), Spain (13,412,263), Germany (33,312,373), Argentina (9,708,420), Iran (7,548,320) and Columbia (6,307,372).
At least 6,544,627 people died from the virus, including 1,059,288 people — in the USA, 685,927— in Brazil, 330,101— in Mexico, 528,611— in India, 207,908— in the UK, 177,054— in Italy and 379,334— in Russia.
At least 206,083 cases of coronavirus were registered in Kyrgyzstan, 1,483,512 cases — in Kazakhstan, 244,199— in Uzbekistan, 17,721 — in Tajikistan.
