Domestic violence: Russian citizen sentenced to fine of 30,000 soms
The Karakol City Court sentenced a Russian citizen to a fine for beating his wife. Lawyers of the victim told 24.kg news agency.
According to them, the man was found guilty of causing minor bodily harm, sentenced to a fine of 30,000 soms and payment of material damage.
The injured citizen of Kyrgyzstan who has two small children decided to get divorced and apply for alimony.
The lawyers of the affected party will appeal against the decision of the first instance.
