SCNS of Kyrgyzstan prescribes rules of use and list of special equipment
The State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) is initiating amendments to the law on the National Security Bodies of the Kyrgyz Republic in order to eliminate possible contradictions in the legislation.
The document notes that the SCNS belongs to military formations. Servicemen on duty have the right to store, carry and use special means, military and special equipment, as well as have the right to use physical force and service animals.
At the suggestion of the SCNS, this rule now applies to employees of special forces.
It is forbidden to use special equipment in relation to women with visible signs of pregnancy, people with disabilities and minors, but only if they do not attack law enforcement officers.
Changes are also being made to the list of special means in service with the national security agencies.
It is supplemented by special weapons, means for overcoming natural and engineering obstacles, as well as an unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) (for reconnaissance and other activities, including photo and video filming. — Note of 24.kg news agency), electronic warfare equipment, portable and fixed radars.
