Fingers of Defense Ministry’s corporal torn off by grenade
A corporal of military unit 36806 was torn off the fingers of left hand in Batken. Own sources informed 24.kg news agency.
The 20-year-old man was in the combat vehicle BMP-2 at the time of the emergency.
«The young man pulled the pin of the RGD-5 grenade, at that moment, according to the preliminary version, its fuse exploded in his hands. The serviceman was first hospitalized in the Batken Regional Hospital, then he was taken by helicopter to Osh,» the sources said.
