Duty-free import of goods up to €1,000 extended in EAEU until April 1, 2023
Threshold of duty-free import of goods for individuals of €1,000 has been extended until April 1, 2023. The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) reported.
Earlier, the Board of the Commission raised the duty-free threshold to €1,000 for goods delivered by a carrier or by mail, as well as imported as luggage by all means of transport, except for air, or on foot. This threshold was set on a provisional basis until October 1, 2022. Now it has been extended for six more months.
«The extension of the measure will help support citizens in the face of sanctions pressure and avoid a shortage of essential goods and critical imports,» the statement says.
