Son of Azimbek Beknazarov placed in temporary detention facility
Investigation is ongoing into the distribution of extremist materials. Press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported.
A criminal case has been initiated under the article «Production, distribution of extremist materials» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
«As part of a criminal case, 41-year-old R.B. was brought for interrogation to the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. He is suspected of distributing extremist materials. The detainee was placed in a temporary detention center,» the ministry said.
The son of the former ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Malaysia Azimbek Beknazarov, Ruslan, was taken for interrogation to the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on Wednesday.
