Five people killed, four more injured in road accident in Issyk-Kul region
Five people were killed in a road accident in Tyup district of Issyk-Kul region. Press service of the Main Traffic Safety Department informed 24.kg news agency.
The road accident occurred the day before at 9.45 p.m. on Balykchy — Ananyevo — Karakol road. The driver of Volkswagen Passat car hit a horse, then lost control and drove into the oncoming lane. The vehicle had a head-on collision with Subaru Legacy and Honda Accord cars.
«The last car was driving in the same direction with Subaru Legacy. As a result, five people — the driver of Passat and his two daughters (14 years old and 12 months old), passengers of Honda Accord died. Four people were taken to the hospital, including a five-year-old girl. Materials have been registered,» the department said.
