Akzhol Makhmudov becomes World Wrestling Champion
Akzhol Makhmudov, a wrestler from Kyrgyzstan, took the 1st place in the final of the World Championship held in Serbia. United World Wrestling website reports.
In the final, the Kyrgyz athlete competed against Zoltan Levai from Hungary and defeated him with a score 8-0.
In the Greco-Roman style competitions, Akzhol Makhmudov previously defeated representatives of Brazil, Mexico, Turkey and Korea in the weight category up to 77 kilograms.
