Kyrgyzstan gets $50 million from ADB, half of amount is loan
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) allocates $50 million to Kyrgyzstan to support the republican budget. MP Dastan Bekeshev reported on his Telegram channel.
At least $25 million of the sum is a loan on favorable terms for 16 years. The same amount was allocated to the country as a grant. The Cabinet of Ministers fulfilled all obligations under this agreement.
«Moreover, the obligations are those that still had to be fulfilled to improve the well-being of citizens,» the deputy said.
In addition, the Government of Japan provided a $7 million grant for medical institutions in Chui region and Bishkek.
