Ambassador visits Kyrgyzstanis serving sentences in Russia
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kyrgyzstan to Russia Gulnara-Klara Samat visited citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic serving sentences in the Federal prison colony 5 of the Federal Penitentiary Service of the Russian Federation. Press service of the Embassy reported.
Eleven citizens of Kyrgyzstan are serving sentences in the institution. They were told about the procedure of transfer of Kyrgyzstanis convicted on the territory of the Russian Federation to their homeland for further serving their sentences, as well as answers to citizens’ questions were given and their requests were taken into account.
«The Embassy will continue to work with this category of citizens as part of the ongoing human rights activities of the diplomatic mission,» the statement says.
