World Bank to finance projects for $600 million in Kyrgyzstan over five years
The World Bank will finance projects in Kyrgyzstan for $600 million in the next five years. It was announced at a meeting of Naveed Hassan Naqvi, World Bank Country Manager for the Kyrgyz Republic, with the First Deputy Presidential Envoy to Naryn region, Adyl Saparov.
The money will be given to improve the lives of the population. This is an interest-free loan for a period of 50 years. Projects for funding will be selected jointly with the Cabinet of Ministers. Trips to the regions are organized to listen to the proposals of the Kyrgyzstanis.
Funding of the projects will begin in July 2023.
