Citizens of Kyrgyzstan staying in Russia are asked to comply with migration laws
Management of the Main Directorate for Migration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia held a meeting with representatives of diplomatic missions and national diasporas via video conferencing. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported.
According to the press service of the department, topical issues of the stay of foreigners were discussed, and answers were received to a number of questions posed by the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Russian Federation.
The Russian side provided information on the changes made to the Russian legislation in the migration sphere, which are important for the Kyrgyz side, taking into account the significant number of citizens of Kyrgyzstan staying on the territory of this country.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs notes that the Main Directorate for Migration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation again focused on the fact that foreign citizens are subject to registration at the place of stay at the address of the premises in which they actually live. Fictitious migration registration is a gross violation of migration rules in Russia.
The Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic reminds of the need to undergo state fingerprints registration and photographing procedure, as well as a medical examination by citizens of Kyrgyzstan who arrived in the Russian Federation before December 29, 2021. These procedures must be completed by January 10, 2023.
