Deputy Chairman of National Bank Nurbek Zhenish dismissed
Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan, Nurbek Zhenish, was relieved of his post. The press service of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic confirmed the information to 24.kg news agency.
The President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov signed the corresponding order on August 30, 2022.
By law, deputy heads and members of the Board of the National Bank are appointed by the President upon the recommendation of the Chairman for a period of seven years. They can be elected not more than two times in a row.
The National Bank promised to provide information about new deputy chairman later.
Nurbek Zhenish has held this position since 2014.
