More than 8,500 students from Kyrgyzstan study at Russian universities. The Russian Embassy reported on its Telegram channel.
According to it, in the 2022-2023 academic year, the quota of the Russian Government for education of citizens of Kyrgyzstan at Russian universities was 500 places. The most popular areas of training are economics, law, information systems and technologies, construction, and the art of acting.
«Acceptance of documents for participation in the quota program for the next academic year will start from October 1,» the Embassy added.
Citizens of Kyrgyzstan also enter higher educational institutions of Russia on a general basis in accordance with the Intergovernmental Agreement on Granting of Equal Rights to Citizens dated November 24, 1998.
