Number of infected with coronavirus exceeds 598.5 million people globally
The number of people infected with coronavirus has grown by 879,501 globally over the past 24 hours. Data of an online map developed by scientists say.
In total, 598,505,058 people got infected with coronavirus. The highest number of the infected is in the United States (93,903,884), India (44,368,195), Brazil (34,329,600), France (34,624,825), Russia (18,941,817), Turkey (16,671,848), Great Britain (23,708,466), Italy (21,721,630), Spain (13,323,784), Germany (31,921,578), Argentina (9,658,391), Iran (7,516,596) and Columbia (6,293,130).
At least 6,461,468 people died from the virus, including 1,042,398 people — in the USA, 683,076— in Brazil, 329,174— in Mexico, 527,452— in India, 188,475— in the UK, 175,043— in Italy and 375,983— in Russia.
At least 205,537 cases of coronavirus were registered in Kyrgyzstan, 1,474,876 cases — in Kazakhstan, 243,710— in Uzbekistan, 17,721 — in Tajikistan.
