Road accident in Russia: Relatives of dead and injured to get 300,000 soms each
Relatives of 14 Kyrgyzstanis who died in a traffic accident in Ulyanovsk Oblast of Russia were allocated 300,000 soms from the president’s fund. The Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Bakyt Torobaev said.
He noted that three survivors who are receiving treatment at the Ulyanovsk Regional Clinical Center will receive the same assistance.
«The Presidential Envoys, their deputies, akims are standing here. Officials from the presidential administration also came. They will all go to the regions where the funeral will take place and provide the necessary assistance to the relatives of the victims,» the official said.
At least 16 people were killed in a traffic accident in Ulyanovsk Oblast of Russia, 14 of them are citizens of Kyrgyzstan. Three Kyrgyzstanis survived. Their condition is assessed as serious.
The minibus with Kyrgyzstanis was literally squeezed between two heavy trucks. The truck driver, who caused the fatal accident, also died.
By the decision of the President, August 23 was declared a Day of Mourning in Kyrgyzstan.
